Stamp Collector Meet and Greet and Open House

This General Meeting will serve as an open invitation and “Meet and Greet” to allow those interested in postage stamp collecting a chance to mingle with the existing members and find out about the Worthington Stamp Club.  Existing members will bring representative pieces from their own personal collections to offer a “flavor” of the type of interests that can be found in the stamp club.  Those in attendance can ask questions and review the pieces to see the vast extent of stamp knowledge and experience from beginner to advanced.

Some of the members have been involved with the club since it’s inception and some are actual stamp dealers.  Take this opportunity to rekindle your interest in stamp collecting and see how many members share your similar interests.  Believe me, unusual specialty areas as well as post cards, covers, and first day covers plus general and special U.S. and worldwide and even forgeries will be available.  If it  can be collected, it has probably been done by one of our members or they will know someone that has. 

If you have an old collection or were given one by your parents or grandparents, bring it over and our members can help evaluate it’s potential value and perhaps offer to buy it if you are interested in selling.
